In 1991, I started with Shell International in London as an Exhibition Designer and was later promoted to Exhibitions Co-ordinator. Working successfully with in-house and external teams as well as international suppliers gave me exceptional experience in the global exhibition and conference arena. I am now proud to be part of a dynamic team and look forward to new and exciting challenges ahead.Jason BanksDirectorDuring 10 years at Shell International in London, managing various projects as part of the Shell Services Department, I gained a great deal of experience in the events industry and enjoyed the challenges that it had to offer. This resulted in the creation of Indalo in 1997 and over the past few years, the company has grown in line with the industries we serve. We now have a dedicated and successful team that offers a wide range of services that help our clients maximise their potential in the market place. I am proud to be a part of this team and excited to see what the future holds.Barbara KnightProject ManagerAfter studying marketing and PR as part of a business degree, I gained many years experience and honed my marketing skills in different industries such as tourism, construction and retail. I gradually became more involved in managing trade events, including co-ordinating pavilions of up to 40 exhibitors at major food industry exhibitions. Event management has, since then, been a major part of my work and something I’ve particularly enjoyed. I feel equally at ease organising consumer-focused events, trade conferences, award ceremonies or press launches. I’ve also found that my years of experience as an exhibitor have given me an extremely valuable grounding in exhibition organising. Since joining Indalo in 2007, I’ve had the opportunity to concentrate solely on exhibitions and I’m more than happy to share my previous experiences both overseas and in the UK.Joe AldridgeProject ManagerI entered the exhibition industry in 2003 with Exhibition Hire Services, one of the largest exhibit houses in Australia. I immediately enjoyed the fast pace of the industry and was soon promoted to project manager. On returning to the UK in 2005, Indalo was a perfect fit for my skills and ambitions. With a clear understanding of all aspects of the exhibition industry, ranging from design concepts to specification for construction to a variety of installation techniques, I offer clients an all-encompassing service. This starts with identifying individual client’s needs and proposals to managing their exhibition on-site ensuring they are ready for the opening session. I have managed projects and installations of all sizes, in over 30 countries, from thousands of square metres at the International boat show in Australia down to an 18 square metre booth in NAPE, Nigeria. I look forward to seeing you at the next event, preferably managing your exhibition requirements but if not over a beer! I am really not sure about the "but if not" bit. Tamsin WilliamsProject SupportAfter graduating from Gloucestershire University with a major in Marketing as part of a Business Management degree I worked in London as an Account Manager for iTech Dynamic Ltd; the European sales liaison office for the manufacturing arm of Hutchison Whampoa. From the 5 years experience of dealing with large corporate companies such as Orange and Vodafone it soon became apparent how crucial support staffs organisational and co-ordinating skills were to the function of any business and how putting the needs and visions of your clients first would ensure great customer service. I have seen the world of exhibitions from exhibitor's eyes and appreciate how crucial it is to market your company in the right way; this experience combined with my love of getting everything and everyone organised has led me to Indalo. After moving home to Devon in 2010 I was recruited as Indalo’s Project Support Co-ordinator. I am very excited to be part of this creative, dynamic and focussed team and look forward to the challenges ahead. Lucy PearsonExhibition DesignerFrom an early age I have been interested in art and design and decided to improve my skills by attending an Art & Design college in my hometown of Sheffield. I was instantly drawn to museum and exhibition design that left me with the passion to continue my career in this area. Whilst at university, I was able to take a work placement for an exhibition design company that gave me further experience. I then progressed to work for another design company - designing children’s play equipment and environments. Now a year later I am the newest addition to the Indalo team. Where I am once again doing what I love – exhibition design!Tom AdamskiExhibition DesignerI have always been interested in architecture and interior design so I decided to expand my interests at college! With the artistic side of me leaning towards interior design I finally attended the Academy of Visual Arts in Poznan, Poland to study a major in interior design. Working for many different companies and different clients I gained a wide range of experience and have learnt that exhibition stand design is all in the detail! Martin AlfieriExhibition fitter and logisticsI began my career in the exhibition industry back in 1995, working for a small exhibition house as part of a team installing conference sets and building bespoke stands. After a few years the company moved into new exhibition technologies and I made sure that I knew the new product lines inside-out. This knowledge allowed me to specialise in the structural design and build of such stands. I joined the Indalo team in 2004 bringing with me a vast knowledge of the exhibition industry and was soon travelling the world taking on new challenges and broadening my horizons on a daily basis. I feel that my passion for the job and my motivation is fuelled by challenge and look forward to the future with as much enthusiasm as I had the day I started!Troy BrownExhibition fitter and logisticsAfter graduating from university I worked in a variety of positions with different companies, all with technically demanding challenges in prospect of providing me with valuable industry and work experience.
